Physiofocus was established in 2012 and specialises in the treatment of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries.
The Lead physiotherapist at the practice is Dr Helen McElroy who has 10 years experience as a physio both in Ireland and New Zealand where she has worked primarily in private practice and with sporting teams. She holds a MSc in sports physiotherapy from UCD and has just finished her PhD at Ulster University studying hip and groin pain in the athletic population. She is the Northern Ireland representative for ACPSEM (Physios in Sport UK), a position she has held since 2013. She has a wealth of experience across multiple sports including Soccer, GAA, rugby, Rowing, netball etc as well as the non athletic population.
